52 Weeks of Felting - Week 28

I love this one, you guys!!  I'm imagining using the toucan in cute party or tropical decor. How cute would a few of these be strung up on a leafy garland?!



 
I really enjoy making birds.  I feel like they each have a different personality, even in felt form.  It wasn't until I took an ornithology class in college that started to actually appreciate birds.  They are fascinating, impressive creatures.  And now that I work with them on a daily basis, I love them even more.  (Not that I'd ever want one as a pet, though.  Ain't nobody got time for that.  Well, some people do. I don't.)

    Cute! And so pretty! You should do a loon! Though, maybe it's a lot of black... Did you know they can't walk? They can only take off and land on water! So neat :)
